This is my very first crack at trying the
Michelle Zindorf technique of stamping. Her stuff is artwork and I think it will take lots of practice to get as good as her. I used a sponge and a post it note torn with jagged edges to create the background and then stamped the tree using basic black.
To make this card I used:
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Apricot Appeal, Whisper White
Ink: Apricot Appeal, Basic Black, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Tempting Turquoise, Night Of Navy
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes, Lovely As A Tree
Accessories: post it notes, sponges, window punch, embossing border, tempting turquoise brads
I really love the way this card turned out. These colours go really well together. I used a white gel pen to create the snow.
Well.. it's hard to believe, but this is my 200th design. I have made 200 different cards since I started with Stampin Up! last year. I cannot believe it. The crazy thing is, I still have so many more designs I want to case and create myself. I came up with this one on my own. It turned out very different from how I originally envisioned it, but that always seems to be the case.
I love love love the Happy Birthday Wheel. I made a couple of cards last year using this wheel but haven't used it much since I bought it. I really like how nice it looks stamped on cards.
