Accessories: Not Quite Navy Brad, Chocolate Chip & Certainly Celery Ribbon, Scallop Circle Punch

a little wiser

I tried something different with the cards I made today. I tried dying some white ribbon with re-inkers to make certain colour ribbons. I had limited success. It did dye them, however the colour was much lighter than I had hoped for. Even using lots of re-inker, it still didn't give quite the colour I was going for. Still an interesting technique.

To make this card I used:
Paper: Sage Shadow, Really Rust, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow
Stamps: It's The Thought, Circle Circus
Accessories: white ribbon, really rust re-inker (to dye the ribbon)

Design # 200

Well.. it's hard to believe, but this is my 200th design. I have made 200 different cards since I started with Stampin Up! last year. I cannot believe it. The crazy thing is, I still have so many more designs I want to case and create myself. I came up with this one on my own. It turned out very different from how I originally envisioned it, but that always seems to be the case.

To make this card I used:
Paper: Basic Black, Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Regal Rose
Ink: Regal Rose, Always Artichoke, Basic Black
Stamps: Circle Circus, Wood Grain, On Your Birthday
Accessories: Always Artichoke brad, Regal Rose Ribbon, White Ribbon

Burgundy Birthday

I've had mixed results using darker colours when making cards. I was nervous using the Bravo Burgundy for this card but I think it goes quite nice with the Chocolate Chip and Not Quite Navy. I used a stamp a ma jig to line up the circles and sentiment.

To make this card I used: (All Stampin Up! products)
Paper: Not Quite Navy, Bravo Burgundy, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip DSP
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Bravo Burgundy
Stamps: Circle Circus, Birthdays Count
Accessories: Bravo Burgundy ribbon
